BISAC: Mystery & Detective – Private Investigators
“Dinner is always just around the corner when you’re a vampire.”
Dumped. Fired. Soon to be homeless. The universe wasn’t done with Larry yet. On the way home he crashes his bicycle in Central Park. The smell of his blood puts him in the crosshairs of New York City’s most feared vampire.
Veronica wasn’t looking for a meal. Her rolodex is filled with willing donors, but something about the delicious smell sets her fangs dripping. When her impromptu meal plans are interrupted by a group of vampire hunters – dinner becomes her savior when Larry stops one of the hunters from staking her.
With targets on their backs, there’s no hope of seeing tomorrow unless they work together. Survival requires Veronica to reopen old wounds and Larry to let go of his past. Tracking down and stopping these hunters will require the once unthinkable, reopening the Vampire Detective Agency.
