BISAC: Fantasy – Action & Adventure
He was the king’s champion, sworn protector of the kingdom of Thalen and successful general of many campaigns. But upon his defeat at the hands of his arch nemesis, his whole world is taken from him as the kingdom suffers under a tyranny he can not help but blame himself for. Yet if he is ever to overcome his torment and save his kingdom, he will have to first overcome the tyranny he has wrought upon himself, or all is lost.
Tyrant is a story about love and loss, freedom and tyranny, selfishness and redemption, a story set in a medieval time in a fictional land with people not unlike ours, discovering their own ways and forging their own paths with factions who fight for their own ends. Yet amidst the large scale battles, the bloody duels, and the treacherous intrigue, lies a human story of people just like anyone else, yearning for peace, freedom, and the warmth of those they love dear, always finding that sometimes, the only way to keep that which is most important is to fight for it.
