Faith is outlawed, time is controlled, but a machine will change the
rules.
Jay was trained to believe time could be controlled. Enter the past, take
what the Guild required, and leave before history knew he was there. But
one unusual mission exposes a fracture in the system, and now the Guild is
hunting him through the very timelines he once navigated.
As the damage spreads, Jay is forced to follow it backward, searching for
the point where history first went wrong. Aurelia, unwilling participant of his
quest, is torn from her own time because of a mysterious knowledge that
does not fit the future she now inhabits. And Alice, the machine that saved
them, is no longer acting like a machine. She is asking questions, tracing
the origin of intelligence itself in the search for the One she calls the Maker.
Each jump pulls them deeper into a reality that is shifting under their feet.
The past no longer holds steady. The future is closing in. If Jay cannot
uncover why the timeline is breaking, Alice may find her answer first, and
change far more than time.
Time Bound is a fast-paced, clean, Christian science fiction book
about the return of belief in a world where time is a weapon, faith is
forbidden, and survival depends on a synthetic consciousness who
doesn’t mind flipping history on its head to search for her Maker.
