Eli’s life was going normally until the world ended with the arrival of unexpected guests. Six years after the world ended, 16-year-old Eli has learnt how to survive: stay quiet, stay alive. Along with his sick mother, he has carved out a fragile existence in a world where rain never stops, and monstrous creatures hunt anything that moves. Everything changes when a promising radio broadcast calls out to all the remaining survivors to a supposed sanctuary, promising safety in an apocalyptic world. Will Eli’s strength, emotions, and willpower help him save himself and his mother from impending doom, or will other revelations change the course of his journey?
