BISAC: Fantasy – Epic
At eighteen, Acacia Vale earns command in Lyvidia’s Third Legion. Her name is respected in a kingdom where discipline means survival and anyone touched by magic is hunted.
Her first mission should be simple: escort valuable cargo across the sea and return with every soldier under her command.
Then something ancient rises from the water.
Shipwrecked far beyond Lyvidia’s borders, Acacia and the survivors of her unit are stranded in a land where monsters stalk the roads, forgotten gods are remembered as fact, and the earth responds to her as though it has been waiting.
With every step, the world she understood begins to fracture. Strangers become allies. Soldiers become family. A secretive prince and a ruthless queen each hold pieces of a past Acacia was never meant to uncover.
Because the power awakening inside her is not merely forbidden.
It is calling her by another name.
To survive, Acacia must choose between the soldier she was trained to be and the force the world is demanding she become. But power is never given without consequence, and answering the earth may cost her everything she still has left to lose.
The Earth Answered is the first book in Where the Gods Still Walk, a dark epic fantasy series filled with living elemental magic, ancient gods, dangerous loyalties, fierce found family, and a woman rising into the power her world tried to bury.
