A February blizzard has settled over Moose Hollow-and it simply refuses to leave. Old Ben Buckley is perfectly content to wait it out alone in his snug little cabin. But one by one, his troublesome woodland neighbors turn up cold, hungry, and needing shelter, while wise old Crowley makes certain nobody gets left behind. Soon Ben’s peaceful cabin is filled with varmints, walnut shells, wet fur, feathers-and more company than one ornery old hermit ever asked for. A funny, warm Moose Hollow tall tale about an old man, four determined varmints, and a blizzard that stayed much too long. A 6.5×6.5″ short story of 24 pages.
