Path to Power is a highly competitive online game where people from all over the world try to find and kill the Cannibal King. Jake knows the world inside this game very well, for it is where he lives. He knows something about his life is off, but being a playable character in a game was not what he would have guessed. He is constantly doing things he wouldn’t necessarily have chosen to do, but when the lights go off, and everyone is frozen in time, that is when Jake can really be alive.
