-Tolkien meets Dostoevsky in a Gothic twist-
Gotterhavn Where gods vie for dominion over each other, and immortals toil in their eternal struggle.
In a land where every person, from the kings to the slaves are naturally immortals, Viegris lost his only daughter, Olaine, to the foul hands of a murderer with deep secrets. Unable to dispel the thoughts of his daughter roaming aimlessly in the Under Realm without the capacity to find resurrection, Viegris turns to his goddess, Isalda, begging for his daughter’s return. Yet the goddess remains eerily silent, her presence nowhere to be found.
Exasperation drives him into the clutches of dark whispers. Alongside Nyria, his lover, Viegris sets forth on a harrowing journey to seek the aid of the Death God in a pact to trade a soul for another. But what begins as a father’s plea to resurrect an innocent soul unravels into a spiral of damnation. In his thirst for resurrection, he risks becoming an instrument of an ancient evil.
This dark gothic tale will drag you into a world where life, death, evil, and the divine all bleed together, in a unique blend of fantasy and psychological horror.
For lovers of: gothic tales, vampires, witchcraft, fantasy, elves, worldbuilding, and psychological horror
