Description
Sparks fly when hockey rivals face off, but can they win the game of love if their teams hate each other?
The days in Luzs hockey career are numbered after an accident years ago left her with chronic pain. Playing at the new womens team of her jock-hating ivy league college is her last chance, and getting named captain means that she cant afford any distractions.
That is until her meet-disaster with Max, the new mens hockey team captain, leads to their teams declaring war on each other.
Even if his massive Italian family doesnt recognize it, Max is one of those once-in-a-generation talents, and he plans to focus on nothing but hockey to wow them. But when a snobby professor pairs him with Luz for a project, she starts to become the one distraction he cant shake.
Faceoff is a first person dual POV closed door romance with mild language and plenty of heat without spice, perfect for those who enjoy their rivals to lovers with a dash of forced proximity, and no 3rd act breakups. Its the first book in the St. Cloud Hockey Series and can also be read as a standalone.
