He comes with diamonds. Literally.
All I wanted was to get on a flight across the country. Instead, a supernatural slave of a goddess from another world kidnapped me. Now, I’m a hostage in a glass palace of the cursed Siren King of Olathana in the magical world of Nerifir.
King Kye’s touch turns everything to glass, condemning him to a lifetime of solitude and heart-crushing loneliness. Feared by his subjects, with his song lost, and his magic waning, Kye is a prisoner in his own palace, maybe even more than I am. And I’m his only companion in almost a century.
Entraped in his sorrows, beguiled by his voice, and intrigued by his cynical outlook on life, I form a fragile, uneasy connection with the king.
But neither of us is aware of the ancient, mysterious danger lurking in the depths below the palace or of the sinister motives of those who surround us on the surface.
I can never accept becoming the pet for the cursed king.
But regaining my freedom may cost me everything.
