Winding its ways through a panoramic landscape of strange encounters, dreams, and observations of an isolated narrator, Before the Rain constructs a distorted yet recognisable portrait of our time.Written as a connected series of vignettes, this darkly surreal novella blends the comic and paranoiac into witness statements of many tangents and mental cul-de-sacs.
