BISAC: Horror – Psychological
A mysterious lighthouse beam moves through the trees of the Netherglade, though rumors claim no tower stands anywhere on the small island off the coast of North Carolina.
When paranormal detective Mason Firethorn discovers a journal left behind by his missing sister, Alivia, its final warning is clear:
Do not follow.
He ignores it.
The island is not abandoned. Its woods rearrange themselves, memories return in the wrong order, and doors open into places that should not exist. Mason enters the Netherglade to find Alivia, but every path leads him farther from the shore and closer to whatever has been waiting inside the light.
Mason’s only help comes from Sawyer, a fisherman with his own reasons for fearing the island, and a handful of others trapped in the Netherglade. Together, they must survive violent creatures, false rooms, and visions created from memories none of them can escape.
Mason must find Alivia before the Netherglade decides neither of them will leave.
